Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Naemio (“we,” “us,” or “the app”) handles information when you use the Naemio mobile application. By using the app you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Naemio is designed to collect as little personal information as possible.

• Search inputs. Words and descriptions you type to generate or check domain names are sent to our servers and third-party services only to return results. We do not use them to identify you.
• Saved favorites. Domains you save are stored on your device. If account sync is enabled in a future release, they may also be stored in your account.
• Purchase information. If you make a purchase, the app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) processes the payment. We receive only a confirmation that a purchase or entitlement is active — never your full payment details.
• Device & usage data. Like most apps, we and our service providers may collect basic technical data (device type, OS version, app version, crash logs, and advertising identifiers) to keep the app running and to show ads.

Advertising

The free version of Naemio shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may use a device advertising identifier to deliver and measure ads. On supported devices you can limit ad tracking in your system settings, and where required we will ask for your permission first. Naemio Pro removes ads.

Our own analytics (first-party, cookieless)

The app and naemio.com send basic usage events (for example: app opened, a search ran, a page was viewed) to our own server so we can see what's working and fix what isn't. This uses a random install identifier — not your name, email, contacts, or precise location — and the website sets no cookies for it. We don't use Google Analytics or any third-party analytics service, and this data is never sold or shared. The same identifier powers your free-dive balance and, if you contact support, lets us look up your account when you share it with us.

Third-party services

To provide its features Naemio relies on:

• Google AdMob — advertising (free tier only).
• Google Gemini API — generates AI name ideas from your description.
• Public domain registration data (RDAP/WHOIS) — checks whether a domain is available.
• RevenueCat and the app stores — process in-app purchases.

Each service handles data under its own privacy policy.

How we use information

We use information only to operate and improve Naemio: returning name and availability results, remembering your favorites and preferences, processing purchases, showing and measuring ads, and diagnosing crashes. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

Search inputs are processed transiently to return results and are not kept in a profile tied to you. Favorites and settings remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app.

Children’s privacy

Naemio is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region) and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect information. The app never stores third-party API keys; AI requests are routed through our own secured server. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your choices

You can clear favorites in the app, reset your advertising identifier in your device settings, and manage your purchases in your App Store or Google Play account.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
